Charles D'Amico is a businessman who has worked up the hard way to grow his business. Moved his family across the country in search of the American dream. When he decided to get back into writing her realized how the game was stacked against the writer.
It was set up in traditional manner for the publisher and for the power brokers of the industry. He realized there are "self-publishing" options, but wanted to learn, wanted to grow and then repeat it for other individuals.
At Blue Handle we look to invest in our writers, build them up as Brands, logo them and create a company for them that they can grow. Authors are more than a book, they are content creators. They are icons that can grow into many other facets and we aim to teach them that, invest into them, and return to them their intellectual property in full at the return of our investment.
Wait, those are fancy words, what does that mean? It means, after we recoup a pre-determined percentage of investment into you as an author, brand and your writing, then we hand you the rights back to your books. Your thoughts, your work, your rights.
